Below is a small collection of pop up card designs I have illustrated over the years.

Artwork on the Card Keys

As the illustrator, I am responsible for the artwork, the bleed, the finishing’s, and any updates or additions I make to the laser die cut.

If you compare the final design with card key below, you will see that the design mechanic changed slightly. I created all the artwork and laser die cuts in Adobe Illustrator. This made it easier for the graphic designer to adjust the file to fit the new layout.

Once again, after I sent in the artwork into the studio the decision must have been made to change the sky color to be more blue than the Turquoise color I originally designed it with. Subtle changes like these happen all the time that is why it is important to keep you art files layered for easy alterations to be made.
